GETTING THERE

The first part of the journey is to Junction (Salida) 63 TEULADA/BENISSA on the A& Motorway and the directions are provided with 3 options -

From Alicante Airport

From Valencia Airport

From Anywhere Else

Then, from Junction (Salida) 63 TEULADA/BENISSA

GETTING TO MORAIRA - From Alicante Airport

1. Motorway to Moraira:
Take the motorway AP7 straight from the airport towards Alicante and then  VALENCIA.

Take care to join the correct lane whilst joining the A7. The first turning on the right is "ALICANTE N340" - pass this one and get into the right hand lane for the slip-road "A7 ALICANTE & VALENCIA" and avoid "A7 MURCIA & CARTEGENA" (straight on) - this is going in the wrong direction!

If you do go wrong - don't panic nor attempt a U-turn under any circumstances because it is a motorway.

Continue over the fly-over and carry on along the Autovia until the first turn-off. Go slowly up the ramp and turn left to take you over the flyover if you can and there is not too much traffic, otherwise continue until you can do a U-turn safely. Once you have crossed the fly-over and rejoined the Autovia you are going in the right direction. Don't worry - this will only add 15 - 20 minutes to your journey.

You will pass various turn-offs for Alicante city and then join the toll section of the A7. PASS 3 EXITS (Villajoyosa "salida" (exit) 66, Benidorm 65 and Altea/Calpe 64) and exit at the FOURTH Junction (Salida) 63 TEULADA/BENISSA.

GETTING TO MORAIRA - From Valencia Airport

1. Motorway to Moraira:

Leave the airport car park/car rental collection area, look for a motorway style sign (white lettering on a blue background) for ALICANTE. This is a ramp to an elevated road bridge.

Follow this road for approximately 3km until reaching the filter road to the Valencia bypass, then turn towards the west which is signposted Barcelona/Alicante and continue for 1-2 kilometres, looking for ALICANTE sign.

Join the Valencia bypass in the direction of A-7 ALICANTE.
TAKE CARE NOT TO TAKE ALICANTE VIA THE INLAND ROAD.

Stay on the motorway which becomes the A-7 Toll Motorway - note this motorway takes you past the large FORD car factory on your right.

Continue on the A-7 motorway and exit at Junction (Salida) 63 TEULADA/BENISSA. You will have been travelling for 60 to 75 minutes for a distance of 110km.

GETTING TO MORAIRA - From Anywhere

1. Motorway to Moraira:

Moraira is situated close to the "Mediterranean Motorway" A7 and AP7 which runs from Barcelona, in the north, to Murcia, in the south - almost mid way between Alicante and Valencia.
From wherever you are find this motorway and exit at Junction (Salida) 63 TEULADA/BENISSA.

2. Motorway Exit at Benissa to Moraira:

After passing through the toll-gate fork left for TEULADA (not right for Benissa) and you will filter onto the N332.

After approximately 2 km, at the 1st roundabout (marked A on the map) turn right for TEULADA. Go straight over the 2nd roundabout (B). Then straight over the 3rd roundabout (C), please note that this is a double roundabout, onto the Teulada by-pass (Avenida del Meditteraneo - an illuminated dual carriageway!).

At the end of this by-pass turn right at the 4th roundabout (D) - clearly marked MORAIRA.

Proceed mainly downhill for approximately 5 kms until you reach the 5th roundabout (E) and go straight over onto a dual-carriageway. After about 200 metres you arrive at the 6th roundabout (F) which is MORAIRA.

Turn RIGHT at this roundabout in the direction of CALPE and continue for 500m approx. and take the first main turning on the right (which is on a sharp left-hand bend just past "Mr Car" and "Saxo Disco Bar" and just before "Molinet Restaurant" (G) this is Camino del Campamento (signposted!).

If you miss this turning you will see "Ocean Estates" office.

Villa Holiday Services (VHS) offices are situated towards the end of Camino del Campamento on the right-hand side. You go past a campsite and the Youth Hostel complex on the left. We have large illuminated sign and there are no other illuminated signs along this road.
Camino del Campamento ends at Bar 21 - if you arrive here you have gone past!

These directions may seem lengthy but this is because we have pointed out many landmarks. It is a really easy journey on good well-signposted roads; so drive confidently and safely and don't forget to drive on the right.

RECEPTION ARRANGEMENTS:  If VHS know when you are arriving there will be someone waiting to direct and escort you to your villa until at least 20:00.  In case of delay at night or any other difficulty - things do go wrong occasionally especially for clients who are driving all the way - always remember that VHS will leave your keys on the door - together with a map mobile phone number and precise directions for 24 hours after E.T.A.
If you are unexpectedly delayed and cannot arrive half an hour within your E.T.A. telephone if you can - as someone may be waiting.
